Working closely with Engineering, Asset Integrity, Operations, Supply Chain, and offshore maintenance teams, the role will play a key part in maintaining asset integrity, supporting maintenance campaigns, and driving the timely resolution of piping and valve-related anomalies.

While primarily an onshore support role, the position requires periodic offshore visits to support maintenance campaigns, inspections, anomaly remediation programs, shutdowns, and execution readiness activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed work-packs and execution plans for piping, valve, pressure system, and structural maintenance activities.
  • Support the planning and coordination of maintenance campaigns, shutdowns, repairs, modifications, and upgrade activities.
  • Manage piping, valve, pressure system, and temporary repair maintenance backlogs to ensure timely remediation of identified defects and anomalies.
  • Support Pressure Safety Valve (PSV) inspection, testing, overhaul, and recertification programs.
  • Coordinate materials, contractor resources, logistics requirements, and offshore readiness activities to ensure work scopes are fully prepared for execution.
  • Convert engineering recommendations, inspection findings, anomaly reports, and approved Management of Change (MOC) requirements into executable work scopes.
  • Maintain maintenance records, planning data, and work orders within the CMMS.
  • Liaise with contractors, vendors, inspection providers, and internal stakeholders to ensure safe and efficient execution of offshore activities.
  • Monitor progress of planned activities and support the timely closure of maintenance recommendations and integrity actions.
  • Support continuous improvement, reliability enhancement, and asset integrity initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree, HND, or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, Maintenance Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in maintenance planning, piping maintenance, valve maintenance, integrity management, or related engineering disciplines.
  • Experience within offshore oil and gas, FPSO, petrochemical, refining, power generation, or similar industrial environments.
  • Strong understanding of piping systems, valves, pressure systems, and maintenance planning processes.
  • Experience supporting pressure system inspection programs, piping repair campaigns, valve maintenance activities, and temporary repair remediation programs.
  • Experience using CMMS platforms such as SAP or Maximo.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, isometrics, and technical documentation.
  • Experience coordinating contractors and maintenance execution activities.

Key Competencies

  • Strong planning and organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proactive problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic operational environment.
  • Strong commitment to Health, Safety, Environment, and Asset Integrity.
  • Team-oriented with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Ability to coordinate across multiple disciplines and contractor organizations.
  • Strong focus on execution readiness and maintenance efficiency.

Additional Requirements

  • This position is primarily based onshore but requires periodic offshore travel to support maintenance campaigns, inspections, anomaly assessments, shutdowns, and execution activities as required.
  • Candidates must be willing and able to travel offshore at short notice when operationally required.
  • Valid BOSIET (Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training) certification is required.
  • Must hold a valid offshore medical certificate or be capable of obtaining and maintaining one.
  • Must be capable of meeting all Company and regulatory requirements for offshore travel and work activities.
