The Opportunity

Tullow is offering an exciting opportunity within the Group Finance team. We are looking for a dynamic Group Financial Accountant to join us on a Permanent (hybrid) basis, located at our office in London, UK.

Job Purpose

Take an active role in the Group Finance team in providing high quality monthly, half-yearly and year-end consolidated financial results, detailed financial analysis and reconciliation.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

Preparation of the monthly consolidated reporting, ensuring adherence with guidelines, policies, and recommended accounting practice.
Providing monthly analysis and insight related to actual reported results.

Calculating and posting consolidation journals in the consolidation system.

Assist finance teams in resolving any technical accounting and process issues or queries and in ensuring the monthly consolidation is completed in a timely and accurate manner.
Administration of the financial consolidation system (Cognos Controller) and monthly close activities.
Provide guidance on technical accounting matters (including assist in the preparation of key documents and papers for consideration by the Audit Committee).
Coordination and preparation of the half year and year end results disclosures and financial statements.
Liaise with the auditors to ensure smooth and efficient running of the interim and year end audits.
Co-ordinate the Group’s global statutory accounts process.
Support in corporate projects, including annual intra-Group dividend process, Balance sheet re-org and step plans
Assist with Monthly Performance Reports as and when required.
Analysis related to one-off business transactions.
Assist with group-wide finance projects as required.

Experience & Education

Degree qualified and relevant certified or chartered accounting qualification.

“Big 4” experience.

Minimum 1-year PQE.

Skills

Understands and applies relevant accounting principles, IFRS, policies and processes

Understands the principles of effective financial systems

Strong analytical skills

Strong MS Office skills

SAP

The Opportunity

Tullow is offering an exciting opportunity within the Ghana Logistics & Materials team. We are looking for a dynamic Quayside Supervisor to join us on a Contract basis, located at our office in Takoradi, Ghana.

Job Purpose

• To manage safe and efficient supply vessel port call operations in support of offshore drilling and construction projects.

• Manage labour and equipment requirements for successful shipside operations.

• Coordinate material movements to and from shipside through effective communication with the Takoradi material and logistics team.

• Provide suitable documentation and reports to ensure traceability of materials handled.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

Demonstrate a personal commitment to Environment, Health and Safety by abiding by International and Ghanaian EHS policy ensuring compliance to statute international port regulations and oil industry best practice.
Liaise with DMC’s onshore to have a thorough understanding of the material being returned to shore and the planned load out for each vessel call.
Ensure availability of suitable manpower and equipment for the transfer to and from the quayside of all materials received from the vessel and all materials to be loaded to the vessel.
Ensure all materials to be handled meet the requirements of local QAQC guidelines and checklists thus assuring the transport of the materials follows relevant legislation and safe working practices.
Ensure readiness of cargo handling equipment to meet the stevedoring needs of the vessel to achieve timely discharge and loading operations.
Strategic planning, preparation and execution of vessel cargo operations. Manage day-to-day port operations, ensuring compliance to Ghanaian and International standards and industry best practices. Ensure availability of suitable manpower and equipment for the transfer to and from the quayside of all materials received from the vessel and all materials to be loaded to the vessel.
Ensure all materials to be handled meet the requirements of local QAQC guidelines and checklists thus assuring the transport of the materials is in compliance with relevant legislation and safe working practices.
Receive documentation from DMC’s onshore, Vendors and relevant third parties to enable preparation of the Tullow cargo manifest. Circulate cargo manifest to relevant parties.
Produce any required operation reports on a timely basis.
Hold meetings with relevant stakeholders and logistics service providers in the port to encourage continuous improvement and quality of the supply vessel cargo operations.
Developing a career path for subordinates, identifying ongoing training requirements.
Any other tasks which may be required from time to time.

Experience & Education

Mandatory: Must hold an HND or equivalent qualification in an industrial or technical discipline. Five years working experience in an industrial/operational environment at a supervisor level. • Desirable: 5 years’ experience in port operations, ideally in an oilfield operation or related role.

Skills

Computer literate: Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, email & Internet, etc. • Sound managerial skills and project management experience. • Strong interpersonal and team building skills. • Must hold a valid driving license • Ability to plan, organize, coordinate, motivate and control. • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels. • Ability to make quick and effective decisions. • Ability to delegate effectively.

Lead Development Geologist Job (London, GB)

The Opportunity

Tullow is offering an exciting opportunity within the Jubilee Field Developments team. We are looking for a dynamic Lead Development Geologist to join us on a Permanent (hybrid) basis, located at our office in Chiswick, UK.

Job Purpose

This role will provide geological support within the Jubilee subsurface development team, to include geomodelling, infill well planning, support to well operations, geoscience data evaluation and integration, in support of development activities on the Jubilee deepwater oil field. The position requires close collaboration with subsurface, drilling, and operations teams, as well as engagement with joint venture partners.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

Geomodelling & Subsurface Characterization

Develop, update and maintain 3D geological and reservoir models.
Integrate seismic (including seismic attributes), well log, core, and production data to refine reservoir understanding.
Quantify uncertainties and support scenario-based modelling for field development and infill well planning.
Collaborate with reservoir engineers to ensure models are fit-for-purpose for simulation.
In collaboration with team geoscientists and reservoir engineers, support and advise reservoir static model updates for history matching.

Infill Well Planning & Operations

Identify and mature infill drilling opportunities to maximize recovery.
Perform reservoir mapping, volumetrics, and risk assessments for proposed well locations.
Recommend optimal well trajectories and targets in collaboration with drilling and subsurface teams.
Support economic evaluations and reserves booking processes
Provide geological input into well design, planning, and execution for deepwater operations.
Support real-time drilling activities, including geosteering and formation evaluation using LWD/MWD data.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

Prepare and present high-quality technical materials for partner meetings and assurance reviews.
Interface with host government and regulatory bodies where required.

Promote best practices in subsurface workflows.

Drive collaboration across geoscience, reservoir engineering, drilling, and operations teams.

Experience & Education

Degree in Geology or Geophysics

Masters level or greater preferred

Skills

Strong expertise in deepwater depositional systems and reservoir geology.
Advanced Petrel geomodelling skills
Strong understanding of the impact of geology, and petrophysics, on reservoir dynamic behaviour in producing oil fields
Experience in the application of workflows and model updates for history matching on late life producing assets.
Proven experience in infill well planning and reservoir optimization.
Solid understanding of drilling operations, well planning, and geosteering workflows.
Ability to integrate multidisciplinary datasets into coherent geological interpretations.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Effective communication skills, with the ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience working in cross-functional, multicultural teams
